Press Release: EU renews its commitment towards development in Asia

On the 20 March 2014, the European Union Commissioner for Development, Andris Piebalgs announced over €6.5 billion in new support for countries and organisations in Asia for the period 2014-2020.

The announcement was made during a two-day event to discuss development cooperation with authorities from the countries and regional organisations involved.
