The European Commission-funded project CATRA (CAttle TRAnsport) presented its study on 17 June 2003 on conditions for cattle transported throughout Europe. According to the study, the transport logistics chain should be reviewed and improved road condition, climate and vehicle design, loading and unloading standards introduced. |
