On 28.6.00, Chris Patten, EU Commissioner for External Relations and Jaswant Singh, Foreign Minister of India, signed a Financing Agreement for the “EU-India Civil Aviation Project” amounting to 32 million euro in the margins of the EU-India Summit in Lisbon. Through this agreement, the Commission is contributing a grant of 18 million euro to the project over a period of 3 years |
