The European Union launched a €1.5 million project, on 23 May 2006, to help Kosovo's Assembly develop the democratic practices and standards observed by the parliaments of EU member states. It will also support the approximation of Kosovo’s legislation with European law. The Agency's mandate ran out at the end of 2008. |
