Brigadier General Eric Harvent, a Belgian national, had been appointed on 8 June 2016 as mission commander for the EU training mission in Mali (EUTM Mali). He took up his duties on 3 July 2016. He took over from Brigadier General Werner Albl, who held the post since December 2015. |
