Press Release: European Agency and the Belgian EU Presidency show how safe maintenance can save lives

The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) joined forces with the Belgian EU Presidency, on 25 November 2010, to host a conference in Brussels, 'Maintenance, do it safely', which showed how safe maintenance could increase occupational health and safety standards. The conference coincided with the release of EU-OSHA’s report, 'Safe Maintenance in Practice', which outlines key strategies businesses should adopt to prevent maintenance risks.
