The European Commission is planning to present a recommendation on a common European format for curricula vitae (CV) in response to a request made by the European Council in Lisbon in March 2000. The CV, which will be used on a voluntary basis, is intended to enable European citizens to present their qualifications more effectively, thus easing access to training or employment in Europe. |
