Communities in the Highlands and Islands and South of Scotland received a share of over £7 million funding from Europe in December 2005. Over 65 projects in the area would receive a mixture of European Regional Development Funding (ERDF), European Social Funding (ESF) and European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Funding (EAGGF). |
