Tthe European Commission is set to award €12 million in support of the Government of Ukraine in order to pursue further its regional development efforts, particularly in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. The Joint Cooperation Initiative in Crimea (JCIC) is aimed at supporting the social and economic development of the Crimea with a specific focus on tourism, building social infrastructure and promoting Foreign Direct Investment. It will help to meet essential community needs by generating new opportunities for economic development. |
