Press Release: Fight against Fraud: Commission publishes vacancy notice for OLAF Director General

On 9 April 2010 the European Commission published the vacancy notice for the position of Director General of the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF). The Director General of OLAF is in charge of running the investigative activities of the Office, which are carried out in full independence of any EU institution or other body. In addition, he must also manage OLAF in its non-investigative role, as a Directorate-General of the Commission with 500 staff and budget of around €50 million.
