Press Release: Haiti: European Commission launches a Global Humanitarian Aid Plan worth €7 million

The European Commission set aside €7 million to help Haiti's most vulnerable people. The funds are to be used to combat malnutrition and maternal and child mortality, and to improve the country's preparedness for humanitarian crises and its capacity to take action in the event of an emergency. This aid will benefit about one million people.
