The European Agency for Reconstruction and its implementing partner, the Council of Europe, in March 2006, launched a programme to strengthen Serbia’s capability to fight economic crime. The project, known as 'PACO Serbia', aimed to improve the system for preventing and fighting economic crime in accordance with international standards and best practices. The mandate of the European Agency for Reconstruction ran out at the end of 2008. |
