Press Release: Home Secretary calls special EU Council

The United Kingdom Home Secretary, Charles Clarke, in his capacity as President of the Justice and Home Affairs Council of the European Union announced, on 11 July 2005, that he had called a special meeting of the EU Justice and Home Affairs Council, in response to the bomb attacks which took place in London on 7 July 2005. The meeting took place in Brussels on 13 July 2005.
