Press Release: Home Secretary moves to ratify the Council Of Europe Convention against Trafficking in 2008

The United Kingdom Home Secretary, Jacqui Smith, on 14 January 2008, announced her intention to ratify the Council of Europe Convention against Trafficking by the end of 2008. The Convention will enter into force on 1 February 2008.
