Press Release: Informal regional policy council in Chalkidiki, Greece: Ministers from the 25 call for a strengthening of European cohesion policies in the light of enlargement

At a meeting of the Informal Regional Policy Council in Greece on 16 May 2003 ministers from the Member States and accession countries discussed t the question of the future of cohesion policy after 2006 as well as issues relating to the implementation of the current generation of European regional development programmes.
