Press Release: International day for the elimination of racism: The UN Special Rapporteur on Racism and EU Monitoring Centre on Racism call for respect to cultural diversity in Europe

The European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia (EUMC) and the UN Special Rapporteur on Contemporary Forms of Racism, on 21 March 2005, issued a joint statement to mark International Day against Racism. They called for continuing international and European efforts to eradicate racism and build an inclusive Europe that reflects the cultural, ethnic and religious diversity of its people.
