Press Release: John Reid declares ‘special relationship’ alive and well

The special relationship between the UK and US on defence issues is alive and well, said the UK Secretary of State for Defence John Reid on 13 October 2005. He was responding to a report published by the Centre for Policy Studies, entitled 'The Wrong Side of the Hill: The secret alignment of UK defence policy with the EU', by Richard North.
