	The European Court of Justice decided on the 18 September 2014 that the Spanish law requiring airlines to carry checked-in baggage without a surcharge infringed EU law. The price in respect of carriage of checked-in baggage is not an unavoidable and foreseeable item in the fare for air travel, but maybe an optional price supplement, accord to the EU court.
