The EU is ordered to pay more than €50 000 in damages to the companies Gascogne Sack Deutschland and Gascogne as a result of the excessive length of the proceedings before the General Court. The excessive length of the proceedings caused both material harm (the payment of bank guarantee costs) and non-material harm (the state of uncertainty in which the two companies found themselves). |
