Press Release: Kimberley process: The EU urges further efforts to overcome the impasse regarding the implementation of the KP in Zimbabwe’s Marange diamond fields

The European Union on 29 June 2010 urged Kimberley Process participants and Zimbabwe to intensify their efforts to find consensus on further actions to bring mining operations in Zimbabwe's Marange diamond fields in compliance with minimum standards. The appeal came after the meeting the previous week did not produce results.
