The European Commission approved on 16 May 2003 a plan to hold, jointly with the Council of Europe, a 'European Day of Civil Justice' once a year throughout Europe. Events planned in Member States include guided tours, open days, local conferences and meetings with members of the legal professions and events for children. The European Day of Civil Justice will be launched on 24 October 2003. |
