The European Commission on 20 July 2005 approved the 'Action Plan to Improve Communicating Europe by the European Commission' proposed by Vice-President Margot Wallström responsible for Institutional Relations and Communication Strategy. The 50 actions set out in the plan aimed at improving the Commission's capacity and skills to communicate European policies.
