Press Release: Mandelson: Economic Partnership Agreements can move ACP from dependency to opportunity

EU Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson told EU Trade and Development Ministers on the 16 October 2006 that the EU’s Economic Partnership Agreements with African Caribbean and Pacific countries can replace an 'eroding lifeline' of tariff preferences with stronger regional markets and integration into the global economy.
