The European Commission introduced on the 28 October 2014 Poppy, a 3D printed, humanoid robot. Poppy was a robot that anybody could build and program. That meant it was not just a tool for scientists and engineers: the team of developers aimed to make it part of vocational training in schools, giving students the opportunity to experiment. |
