Press Release: Mergers: Commission approves acquisition of Noble European Holdings by ArcelorMittal

The European Commission cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of Dutch company Noble European Holdings B.V., a subsidiary of Noble International Ltd. of the US, by ArcelorMittal of Luxembourg. After examining the operation, the Commission concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it.
