The European Commission cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of PEMA GmbH ('PEMA'), a German company active in renting trucks and trailers, by GEFA Gesellschaft für Absatzfinanzierung mbH ('GEFA') of Germany. After examining the operation, the Commission concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition in the EEA or any substantial part of it. |
