The European Commission cleared on 28 June 2010 under the EU Merger Regulation the acquisition by the automotive supplier Mahle GmbH of a 60% stake in Behr Industry GmbH & Co KG, a subsidiary of Behr GmbH & Co KG, all of Germany. As a result of the transaction Mahle and Behr will have joint control over Behr Industry. The Commission concluded that the acquisition would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it. |
