Press Release: Mergers: Commission approves proposed acquisition of joint control of Prisma and OeKB-V by Euler Hermes and OeKB

The European Commission cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of joint control of Prisma Kreditversicherungs AG and OeKB Versicherung Aktiengesellschaft (OeKB-V), both of Austria by Euler Hermes Kreditversicherungs-AG of Germany and Oesterreichische Kontrollbank AG (OeKB) of Austria. After examining the operation, the Commission concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it.
