Press Release: Mergers: Commission approves proposed acquisition of joint control over Siemens Elin Buildings and Infrastructure GmbH & Co by Siemens and Ortner

The European Commission has cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of joint control of the Austrian undertaking Siemens Elin Buildings and Infrastructure GmbH & Co (B&I KG) by Ortner Group (also of Austria) and Siemens AG of Germany. The Commission concluded that the operation would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or in any substantial part of it.
