Press Release: Mergers: Commission approves proposed acquisition of Logix by Arrow Electronics

The European Commission cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of Logix of France by the US-based company Arrow Electronics. Arrow Electronics is active in the wholesale distribution of electronic components and Information Technology products, while Logix is a value-added distributor of hardware and software computer products. The Commission's investigation has shown that the concentration would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it.
