Press Release: Mergers: Commission authorises proposed acquisition of Cégélec by the Vinci Group

The European Commission authorised on 26 March 2010 the proposed acquisition of the French company Cégélec, a specialist in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and heating and air-conditioning installations, by the French group Vinci, under the EU Merger Regulation. The Commission concluded that the operation would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it.
