The European Commission has cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of the French company Rhodia by the Belgium-based group Solvay. The Commission concluded that the proposed transaction would not raise competition concerns because a sufficient number of competitors will remain active on all markets concerned. |
