The European Commission cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of BASF's Seal Sands plant, a UK plant active in the production of intermediate chemicals, by Ineos. The Commission concluded that the operation would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or in any substantial part of it. |
