The European Commission approved under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of US mobile electronics and transportation systems manufacturer Delphi Corporation by the car manufacturer General Motors (GM), also of the US. The Commission concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition within the European Economic Area (EEA) or a substantial part of it. |
