Press Release: Mergers: Commission clears proposed acquisition of One by France Télécom and private equity investor Mid Europa Partners

The European Commission has approved under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of joint control of the Austrian mobile telecommunications operator One by the French telecommunications operator France Télécom and the UK-based private equity investor Mid Europa Partners (MEP). The Commission concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it.
