The European Commission cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the acquisition of Pražská teplárenská a.s of the Czech Republic by Czech company International Power Opatovice, a.s. (IPO), EnBW AG of Germany and the City of Prague The Commission’s investigation found that the proposed transaction would not impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it.
