The European Commission approved under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of the UK-based satellite manufacturer Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL) by the Dutch company European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company EADS N.V. (EADS). The Commission concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition within the European Economic Area (EEA) or a substantial part of it. |
