Press Release: Mergers: Commission clears Siemens’ purchase of Dutch heat recovery steam generator supplier NEM

On the 28 October 2011, the European Commission cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of NEM Holding B.V., a Dutch-based supplier of heat recovery steam generators, by Siemens A.G. of Germany.

The Commission concluded that neither the combined market shares nor the integration of the two suppliers would result in competition concerns.
