The Irish Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Brendan Smith, on 21 September 2010, addressed a meeting of Agriculture Ministers, organised by the Belgian Presidency and devoted to a debate on the future of the CAP after 2013. He highlighted the importance of supporting and stabilising farm incomes in the future CAP.
