On 21.1.00 a new Regulation on the provision of assistance to the partner States in Eastern Europe and Central Asia entered into force. The Regulation set the framework for €3.138 billion of assistance over the next seven years (2000-2006). The countries covered by the regulation are Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. |
