The European Anti-fraud Office (OLAF) on 12 July 2005 released a Supplementary Activity Report for the Year 2004. The report was presented on the occasion of the Public Hearing on OLAF organised by the European Parliament's Committee on Budgetary Control: 'The Revision of the Regulation on the European Anti-Fraud Office'. The Report, which presents statistical material on a calendar year basis, called for a sharper focus on the most relevant cases and a shorter average duration of investigations. |
