The European Commission on 20 April 2005 decided to authorise two social State aid schemes designed to help certain categories of air passenger living in France's outermost regions. One is aimed at certain categories of passenger wishing to fly to mainland France from Martinique. The other, known as the 'mobility passport' scheme, was geared towards French overseas residents following basic or vocational training in mainland France. |
