Karl Friedrich Falkenberg was appointed Deputy Director-General in the Directorate-General for Trade, 13 July 2005. Mr Falkenberg was to oversee the services responsible for bilateral trade relations and market access for all countries, with the exception of China and Japan. He was further put in charge of industrial trade issues, such as steel, coal, shipbuilding and chemicals. |
