The Agriculture & Fisheries Council will meet in Brussels on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 December, 2008, under the Presidency of Michel Barnier, French Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries. Commissioners Joe Borg (Fisheries and Maritime Affairs), Mariann Fischer-Boel (Agriculture and Rural Development) and Androulla Vassiliou (Health) will represent the Commission at the meeting. The main item on this Council agenda will be the fishing opportunities for 2009 (TACs and quotas). |
