The European Commission, in November 2007, approved a Regional Operational Programme for the Highlands and Islands of Scotland for the period 2007-13. The Operational Programme falls within the framework laid out for the Convergence Objective and has a total budget of about €291 million. The Programme was announced in Scotland on 10 April 2008. |
