Press Release: Promotion of agricultural products: the compromise is approved by the SCA

On 2 April 2014, the Hellenic Presidency, the Special Committee on Agriculture (SCA) endorsed the final compromise text on a draft regulation establishing promotion measures for agricultural products on the internal market and in third countries agreed by the Council and the European Parliament representatives during the trilogue meeting which took place
on 1 April 2014.

This draft regulation renewed the legal framework for the promotion of European agricultural products on the internal market and in third countries in the context of the very competitive environment the EU faces.
