Press Release: Public debate: the impact of arts and culture on intercultural dialogue

Arts and culture was discussed on 2 April, 2008, in the second Brussels Debate organised in the framework of the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue 2008. The debate entitled 'Negotiating differences: A responsibility of artists and cultural institutions' has been prepared by the European Commission in cooperation with the European Foundation for the Arts and Heritage (EFAH) and the European Cultural Foundation (ECF). It took place in the Residence Palace, Brussels, and was opened by the EU Commissioner Ján Figel'. Claire Gibault MEP concluded the Debate.
