The European Commission moved to make it easier to advertise large public contracts on the Internet by adopting new standard forms for such notices mainly for use online, 11 October 2005. This was part of a wider EU strategy on computerising public procurement procedures in the EU. It was planned to make the forms available in all EU languages by the end of October 2005 at the SIMAP website. |
