Press Release: Recruitment of the Executive Director and other staff for the new European Chemicals Agency (ECHA)

The Commission has published the post of Executive Director of the new European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) which will start operations in Helsinki on 1 June 2007. There is a separate launch for the recruitment of the first 200 ECHA staff members. Highly qualified professionals in a number of disciplines, namely, regulatory management of chemicals, IT, accounting, finance and human resources management are now being sought.
