Press Release: Revised list of persons whom the Council proposes for appointment as Members of the Commission

Following the withdrawal of the candidacy of Ms Jeleva and the designation of Ms Georgieva as new candidate for Commissioner, the Council, by common accord with Mr José Manuel Durão Barroso, President-elect of the Commission, on 22 January 2010 decided to repeal and replace the list of proposed Commissioners it had adopted on 4 December 2009.
